i'm picking up a stock 95 GT engine to drop into my ranger and convert it over to a carb engine. i'm going to run an F303 cam, air gap intake and the hedman swap headers. i saw the pro comp aluminum heads are only $650 for a new pair and was wondering if they are worth the cash. that will be the only engine mods other than a plate system on the truck

I want to measure mine. It doesn't look that tall.

there are several threads on this in TECH. they are not very good heads. the money you save you will spend getting them prepped for your motor. pay up front for some trick flows or AFR's

i dont want to drop $1k in heads. this is SUPPOSE to be a budget build.

i'll prob just stick with the stock heads and just spray another 25 hp thru them

a 25 shot spools a turbo... if your going to spray dont spray anything less than 75 but depending on how many miles that engine has seen there shouldnt be any reason you shouldnt be able to do a 100-125 shot.

+1 for a sleeper ranger!

buy a set of used name brand heads for around that price, better than stock.
