Anyone running these tires? Hearing that Nitto's run a little on the skinny side how do the compare against the Bfg 295/35/18 dr's (Width wise). Impressions and pics if ya got them please. Looking for the biggest tire possible for my 9.5's while keeping it safe.

Thanks

bfg's run wider and nittos run skinnier compared to other tires of the same size. my 295 bfg g-force dr's are huge and are the same size as my 315 michelin pilot sports on the cobra. the nt-555's i had previously were 285 but they looked small combared to others.rynan02stang the tires your seeing on L's are are the 305/40 tires. that sidewall is way to big for us but these new 305/35's they came out are perfect. Too Slow, tell your friend not to bother the 295 bfgs are going to most likely be bigger than his 315 nittos

I run BFG 315 on my 17x10.5 rims..they are huge, small clearance between quad shok and tire (like 1.5") but it doesn't rub anywhere..also it hooks really really well too.I 'm very happy with them so far
I had those same tires. I LOVED them. They lasted me a little over 3000 miles so now im giving the Nitto 315/35/17 drag radials a try. they don't quite hook as well as the BFG's but its MUCH better in the rain.

dayton tires

My g/f has dayton daytona tires, I've never herd of them before she got the car. They are 225/50/16 but they hook really really good I was very surprised. I can't launch under 3500 rpm's or it will bogg like crazy. And when I say launch at 3500 I mean as soon as the clutch is out I floor it and don't get hardly any wheelspin.Keep in mind this is a stock 97 GT. Just thought I'd share that with yall and maybe one of ya can spend 100 buck and get some wider one and see how they hook.
