Nitto 555 G2 295/40/18 and 285/35/18 which one?

If anyone can help I am looking to get new tires for my 2000 Mustang GT I have 295/35/18 Bridgestone 760 Sports in the rear which they don't make anymore. I am looking at Nitto NT 555 G2 295/40/18 and 285/35/18 both are the Same brands, can someone that has those sizes tires post pic of what your tires look like from the rear and side, I don't care what brand you have I just want to get an idea what the difference will look like between 295 vs 285. I have 245/40/18 Bridgestone 760 Sports up front. Thanks and I hope all will have a great safe New Year!!

On the rear, you begin with the 295/35/18
Width: 11.61
Sidewall: 4.06
Diameter: 26.13
65 mph

Next: 295/40/18
Width: 11.61
Sidewall: 4.65
Diameter: 27.29
67.89 mph when speedo says 65

Next: 285/35/18
Width: 11.22
Sidewall: 3.93
Diameter: 25.85
64.30 mph when speedo says 65

Both of these options would make you also change the front tire size to accommodate if your keeping it street-able

have you thought of a 248/40/18 for proper tire math, when you move the width one way, you compensate for the height of the sidewall the in the opposite direction.
Width: 11.22
Sidewall: 4.89
Diameter: 26.98
67.11 mph when speedo says 65
