anyone using a cargo net in the trunk?

I hate to have stuff rolling around in the trunk. Especially milk jugs (and jars of prego). I was looking at a couple the the "sticker and air freshener" auto parts store. I was wondering what is the best fit and how they mount.

I have one in my trunk, but they're kind of spendy ($65) for a net with an elastic band. It comes with new hooks that replace two existing screws (one on each side of the trunk interior). It works great, and I really like it. It was the first extra I bought for my Mustang. It sits more towards the middle of the trunk than the 99-04 cargo net (these tended to get caught in the trunk latch and get torn because they sat so far back in the trunk).

I got the Ford one when I bought the car. It works pretty good. The hammock style works well for holding smaller items, not so much bigger bits but if you get creative with how you use it it does the trick. It does a reasonable job of dividing the trunk too.

I don't have a cargo net, but I have a trunk liner from 50resto.com. I love the thing, nothing moves around at all in my trunk and even things I that I think would tip over stay put. I'd say it's a great investment, but I may still get a net just cause.

I have the Ford cargo net too. It does do a good job and is much better than hearing a mag lite, duct tape, and various other items rolling around constantly.

The price is ridiculous. My service guy told me that at one time they had a bunch of them laying around. They threw them away. That was before they realized what the things cost.

Get some tubs at Target...

Get some rubbermaid tubs or those opaque plastic storage tubs at Target or your local equivalent (no on Walmart); one big and a couple small ones and lay them out in your trunk. Great for groceries. None of your stuff will slosh around, nor will there be any strange clunks from behind. Take the tubs out when you are carrying big stuff like suitcases.

Those cheap milk cartons do burst pretty easily. We don't want any sour milk mustangs.
