My buddy has one laying around...said he'd give it to me if i want it. How does it hook up to the intake/turbo? Any pics of the plumbing or anything like that?

There's a guy on one of the Merkur boards who made a sort-of ram air looking box to go on top of the IC and ran the intake duct to the fender for a CAI setup for the intercooler....still not as cool as a front mount, but since i can get this for free and i won't have to spend anything on intake pipe...i'm all over it for now.

Wouldn't you need to have some sort of adapter to attach to the Merker's T-3?

The Merker T-3 outlet has the flange, whereas the IHI or SVO T-3 outlets point straight up and are made for the TMIC.

Yeah i remember reading about that....it needs a flange welded onto the bottom inlet. I'd really have to ghetto rig it to make it a front mount setup though.

That's not necessary and it would be a PITA to bolt the IC to the turbo anyway.

The 2-bolt flange can either be ground off and made into a ghetto tube outlet or the aluminum elbow that normally bolts onto the turbo can be cut an modified. The compressor housing also has to be turned CCW so the outlet points straight up.

The outlet tube is on backward in this pic, but it gives an idea of what there is to work with.
