Anyone using Autometer temp gauge???

I was wondering how you got it to work with the stock sensor/plug? I'd imagine you had to run some sort of T into the intake. Is there any way to just wire the two together without using a T. I thought I could just run the aftermarket gauge without the stocker but the computer doesn't like that too much. Any pics you have would be great!

I'm in the same boat as you. The computer doesn't like life without the stock sender, so I'll be using a T to wire both senders in.

if you go into your instrument cluster diagnostic mode and scroll through till you get to "temp" it will tell you the exact cynlinder head temp in degrees celcius..

Hey guys. You can put the sensor in a plug hole on the block located on the driver side, right behind the motor mount. Its pretty much on the underneath of the block, so you will need to have the car on stands or ramps to get to it. Also make sure to drain the radiator or you will take a bath.

you can tap into the thermostat housing and use that instead of tapping into your sender.

ya i found that plug behind the motor mount... didnt bother draining any coolant... had a bit of a bath... but it works!!
