I was wandering who uses UPR Triple Pick-Up or Speed Release Quadrant with Double Lock Firewall Adjuster with stock cable

And whats the difference between Triple Pick-Up and Speed Release Quadrant and which one works better

BTW I'm born in Bosnia / Europe ,now live in USA ,my English is sux ,so please don't critize me

The UPR triple-hook quad, stock cable, and Xtreme Firewall Adjuster (basically just a more beefy design of the double-lock adjuster) all work great on my car. Had to play with it for a couple of weeks to figure out where, exactly, I wanted the pedal to catch after installing my clutch, but otherwise it's all good. Haven't had to adjust it at all for two or three months, now.

Single hook quad, Extreme FWA and stock cable. Works decently (I liked the long throw of my SVO quad better, but it required an adjustable cable).

Ernan, dont forget about Fiore components. That would be my choice at this time.

Good luck.

I know Fiore is good stuff ,but reason why i may gonna buy UPR ones is because i going to other some other parts in same time

Why is single better than double or triple or different way

Hows single (speed release) works, is it speed release for real or ........

Can someone explain me how all this 3 Quadrant works

Ernan, I have never used a triple personally (I drove a car with it, but I couldnt form an opinion in such a short time). The single hook is suppost to have more abrupt engagement/disengagement, but I never could tell a huge difference. I dont think people consider a single (speed) quadrant better than the multi-hook quadrants - it is just a preferences.

FWIW, the 3rd hook on some quadrants is pretty useless, but it circumvented patent issues with the 2 hook quadrant.

Here is an article written by Jeremy Thompson - it might provide some extra insight.

Good luck Ernan.

The UPR single hook worked on my fox OEM clutch cable. If the quadrant has a short looking throw (the curved side is not really long), then it has a good chance of working with the stock cable.

FWIW, I think Danny recently swapped UPR parts into his SN95. But he is moving right now - maybe he posted what he used. Might be worth a search (Just dont bring the thread he posted on back - I know you well Ernan :) ).

Whats his screen name , just Danny ???
You know Danny - Wytstang.

I just looked it up and he decided to go with the Triple hook instead (we were chatting in PM's about what he might want to use and I couldn't remember what he chose). Nevermind on that one. :bang:
