Hey guys, since the truck is gone, it's time to start thinking about ordering an '08 GT. After being blown for so long, I dont want to go back n/a, but would rather buy a new stang with warranty rather than a used 03/04 cobra. I was just curious to get some info from any of you who have had the dealer install the saleen blower or the whipple/FRPP blower. i could do this myself, but am interested in keeping whatever warranty i can.
1. did the dealer honor the existing power train warranty? i know other bumper to bumper stuff would be covered by the M-M act.
2. could anyone give me a guess-timation of what the added cost was to the car? is it the list price of the saleen blower kit? what about the whipple?
3. what sorta standard tune do they offer? i'll eventually end up dyno tuning it with an SCT or diablo, because the stock pulley wont be on very long
