I have one a buddy let me borrow and I was taking it apart and the tip that the needle goes in is stuck in the spray head part. I cant get it out. how exactly would I get this out?

Not too sure what exact parts you're talking about. It's been a while since I had my dads apart. Try letting thinner soak into it, could have dried up paint/clear in there.

I doubt it. the gun is spotless and he cleans it religiously.

It more than likely got twisted too much and is stuck. Ill just get two nuts and get it off.

i would run thinner through the gun its been soo long since i have dissasembed one but filling the cup with thinner and running it through the gun always seem to make the process easier...what brand is your gun?

If you're already taking it apart, I would buy a seal kit. It probably got stuck by some of the paint leaking past some seals in the first place.

I've never worked on a Sharpe, but I know my DeVilbiss has a seal or two that requires some light oil. If the Sharpe does, only use a tiny bit, you don't want it getting into the air-stream and into the paint that you're shooting.
