damn, I was hoping no one else would notice until it was confirmed that they'd fit my setup..then I was gonna spread the word about this amazing deal. they better not go on backorder! and even though they say g-force, they're still the good ones. it's the g-force 2 which=comp t/a. just a simple name change.

So are they the "good" ones or not? If they are i am gonna buy them right now.

EDIT Never mind i did some researching and this is what I found.

NOTE: In order to further differentiate the renamed Comp T/A Drag Radial from the existing g-Force T/A Drag Radial (that features a directional tread design), The Tire Rack will identify the renamed Comp T/A Drag Radial as the "g-Force T/A Drag Radial-2".

from this I am taking it is the same tire as the normal comp ta drag radial, it is now just called the g-force comp t/a drag radial 2:

The only change will be the tire's name on the sidewall. The g-Force T/A Drag Radial-2 will retain the Comp T/A Drag Radial's dimensions and proven asymmetric tread pattern, making it compatible with the original Comp T/A Drag Radial, allowing both tires to be paired together for use on the same axle. While the name change will take place gradually during the second and the third quarter of 2004, BFGoodrich plans to convert all sizes by the fourth quarter.

Hey thanks Juiced91GT I just ordered a pair of the 255/50/16 :hail2: The total with shipping was $242.21
Again thansk Juiced91GT for the tip :nice:

What the h3ll is "R" speed rated?
RC

About 106 MPH

" A tire receives its speed rating by the U.S. Government through meeting minimum standards for reaching and sustaining a specified speed. What does that mean to you? Well, in general, a higher speed rating will result in better car handling.

Two important notes when considering speed rating:
• We do not recommend downgrading the speed rating of your tires. This may result in poor handling and unpredictable steering. However, if you want better cornering response, there is no problem installing a higher speed rated tire on your vehicle.

• Never mix and match tires with different speed ratings on your vehicle. This will cause serious problems with the handling of your vehicle.

Below is a list of speed ratings along with the corresponding speeds they represent. Remember, the speeds are test speeds, not recommended speeds.

Q— Up to 100mph
R— Up to 106mph
S— Up to 112mph
T— Up to 118mph
U— Up to 124mph
H— Up to 130mph
V— Up to 149mph
W— Up to 168mph
Y— Up to 186mph
Z— 149mph and over"
