I picked up some factory 03 cobra rims the other day. Anyone running these on their fox? Any rubbing issues with the wider rim? Got them for a hundred bucks from a guy that sold his cobra and wanted them out of his garage. I like my bullits, but may switch. If they work out, I may slap some drag radials on one set and use them for the track weekends.

What is your current suspension and brake setup?

Please give some information that could be useful when asking these questions, that way, we dont have to do the legwork for you.

Did we read the same post?

Your thinking of the post that says: "Will these rub? I have SN-95 spindles, stock length axles, no quads and Eibach drag springs all around." This one gets answered with 10 minutes, a jack and a drive down the road (Leg-work).

This post was actually looking for information (and possibly pics) of others who had these on their fox. This one allows me to find out, what they look like, who had problems, what they are running (in case I change my set-up) and if it is even worth keeping these rims.

Sound a bit smug? Please read your post.

ok smartass, how about this for smugness.......

USE THE SEARCH FUNCTION. This could have answered your question as well.

i was trying to be as nice as i could about it, so that YOU could get more information out of anyone that replied to you. The way you asked your question, you could have just gotten a response such as, "yes i have them on my car", but maybe you have a unique setup, maybe you have a common one. The object of your post is to see what will work for YOU, not for others.

Thank you for posting this in the Talk section though, i would hate for this to have been a Tech post.

I'm running 255 tires all around with no issues but its stock ride-height. I did roll the front fenders and beat the inner rears, they don't rub on the street but on the road-course I could get the car leaning enough to rub, still nothing serious but I wanted the problem corrected. They will fit and having a 9" wide rim opens up some wider tire options especially for the rear where I previously ran 275 tires with no issues.

275/40's in the rear, and as previously stated no real rubbing issues after a fender roll and rack limiters in front. I can get it sliding enoug to leave rubber on the exhaust though...

Thanks guys. The cars look great. I do have to second the question on "beater"? Nice car. I think Hemi's car has helped me to decide to keep these.

Not sure where the hostility comes in, I think OP was just wanted pics and to know other peoples setup. I think the 03 cobras are one of the nicest on a fox.

One of my favorite foxes

Thank you. The picture was taken in Carrollton, GA. I call the car the beater because I pulled it out of a junkyard 2 years ago. Sorry for the hijack OP.
