I am thinking of getting some 90/10 Lakewood struts for the front. I could care less about the corners, and it is not a daily driver, but I do drive it on the street. All the ads say race only, that 70/30's are for street/strip, although I have heard many who run them on dialy drivers with no complaints. I have KYB's on front now, how would 90/10's compare?

i have heard that the 70/30s are better manners for the street. i have seen cars with 90/10s and they raise the front end up something wicked.

im going to match the 70/30s with some front drag springs...that should make a nice balance for when i wanna romp on it.

70/30's would be better for the street I am sure. I am just asking because I don't want to have a wreck over it. I have scene cars with 90/10's lift the wheels off the ground on the street but weren't any faster than mine, it looks like fun. It's like having no shocks/struts on the car durring takeoff but comes down nice and easy, that's what I want.

Any other opinions???

i have them on my car. when i first got them the front end used to travel up and down a little while driving. now i dont even notice that i have them. when you take off hard on the street, you can tell that the front end does come up. but normal driving, like i said i dont even notice them any more.

I just put lakewood 90/10's on my car and they feel fine on the street, i couldn't see anyone complaining about them that cares about their 60' times, it actually rides a lot smoother now than it did before with my old worn out monroes. You'll love 'em, my car is a turd but the weight transfer is awesome, due in large part to the struts i believe. :D
