Now, there is another option that may be more
attractive and, if not done just by throwing
high end expensive parts at it, can be done
for about the same amount, and the end result
can have some parts that are stronger than
even beefed AOD's, and the shifting is more
controllable, esp with complete control over
2nd gear and shift points. I've got one just
about ready to go in place of my beefed AOD

I've got a 70 convert that, if I can't afford a FFR
Cobra when I retire, will get my 351 Lighting efi
& 4R drivetrain, hopefully with the 351 upgraded
a few steps from the present configuration
