Hello everyone,
It’s been a while since I’ve been on and was hoping you guys might be able to help me out. I've goggled and searched on forums all week and was hoping you guys might know another place to get an AOD cross memeber for the 65/66 mustangs. I'm not too big on the idea of paying $130-180 for the AOD cross memeber Ron Morris or PATC is selling. It looks to simple for that kind of money and surly someone out there is making one, or something like it. Also if any one has a V8 rear-end (don't care if it’s the 9' or 8') as long as it’s 5 lug and bolts up please message me. I close to being done with my I6 to 351 conversion. I will post pics if any one is interested later.
Thanks in advance
Mike

Where are you located? I have something for you rear end issue, but shipping a rear housing, a pumpkin, and axles is expensive.

I'm not sure if the Mustang is the same or not, but I was able to use my old c4 crossmember on my Fairlane. I just moved it rearward a couple of inches and drilled new holes to bolt it in.
You have to use the AOD mount but it bolts right into the old crossmember.
