I did a search here, as well as google but havent stumbled onto an answer yet. I have just began hearing a whining/howling sound that occurs only when I have my AOD in overdrive gear. I have determined it to be limited to driving in O/D, as when I experiance the sound, I pull it down to Drive, and the sound is gone. Shift back to OD, and the sound is back. Could this be an indication of a major repair, or just a minor adjustment? I am going to check the tranny fluid level when I get a chance, but in the meantime, I would be very interested in anyones feedback or opinions into this occurance. The car is a stock 93 GT, thanks in advance.
