Drivetrain Aod Wide Ratio Gear Set

I need to rebuild my AOD transmission and have been looking at the wide ratio gear set from a 4R. Would the higher gears in 1st and 2nd give me better city gas mileage? This is for a daily driver, so I'm not looking for performance. But I thought with the higher gearing it would take less torque on the engine to break inertia, as LA traffic is a lot of stopping and little going.

I checked clickclick and only found threads regarding performance, didn't find anything substantial on MPG.

Also, anyone have a transmission shop in the Los Angeles area that could do this AOD gear rebuild?

Most people with mustangs don't really care about miles per gallon
It's smiles per gallon around here

Going to be negligible really. Drive by style willl make more of a difference than changing 1st and 2nd gear ratios.

Does anyone have know of a shop in the Los Angeles area that's done this mod? The transmission shops I've talked to haven't done it before and we're not comfortable trying.
