so i was looking into some "cheaper" presents that my family could buy me for the stang, when i came across the B&M Shift Plus for AODE's...for those who don't know its a switchbox that plugs in and recalibrates the transmission....
heres a link of it:
http://store.wpsracing.com/shimfoshel.html
it's also in the brothers performance catalog on page 75, if you have one of those laying around...

anyways, so i'm wondering....
1. is this thing worth a try??? or is it just a waste of time and should i buy the Transgo shift kit instead???
or...
2. should i get the B&M shift plus and use it in combination with a Transgo as well???? or would this combo not work out???

p.s. i'm planning on eventually getting a torque converter as well when i do my H/C/I NA combo next year...so that's not on the table just yet.

it's pretty pointless... all it does it increase line pressure a little bit. It caused my transmission to make a weird rattling noise.

The electronic shift plus or whatever you call it is useless. I got one awhile ago, used it for a couple days and removed it. It's sitting in my garage because I would feel bad selling it.

I don't know if you've changed your fluid lately, but 12 quarts of Ford mercon-v and a new filter would be a nice sorta cheap present!
