Does anyone here have a Ford Service manual, I was discussing with another guy i work with today, and considered converting my AODE to a paddle or stick electronic shift. Thought it would make for a sweet project back at school, plus i dont like the way it shifts on its own. Does anyone have the Solenoid shift sequence??? or know where i can get it without buyin the huuge manual? just a crazy idea right now if i decide to go through with it ill let everyone know the details

I'm not sure what you mean by solenoid shift sequence. I know that you can put a reverse manual valvebody in the car, if you want to shift the car yourself? Not sure if that helps or not ...

in the ford service manual there should be a sequence shown on what the positions of the solenoid shift the tranny into each gear, it would require a small curcuit but with paddle shifters you could use this sequence to shift it manualy with switches, and possibly controll the hardness of the shift. how do you control it if you put in a reverse manual valve body??
