Yep, just came back from the track with my AOD GT hatch. It has 3.73s, a shift kit, 3000 stall and the FRPP wide ratio gears. My best run of the day (coincidentally, my first run at a track ever) was:

14.3999 @ 92.01 (it short shifted into OD at the 1100' mark)
1.9768 60'

I'm pretty proud of how far my car has come along. With a few minor tweaks to the transmission, it can run even to, or faster than a manual.

Turbo setup arrives Tuesday.

I think I have a problem here.

Glad there's another one out there happy w/their AOD. Congrats on your run

I just (finally) put together the specs to have an auto built so I can swap out my stock AOD. Can't wait to get it in!

Not bad for an aod, i've seen guys with 13.5's in pretty much stock cars, with converters and shift kits.

If you beat on the car alot, i don't see the AOD lasting too long with a turbo.

I think the problem was that my car just has no power. It's a high mile engine (almost 120k miles), and it just doesn't have the power to launch. I was running ET Streets anywhere from 15-25 psi, and 1.9768 was the best I could do. Even with the converter, it wouldn't stall high enough to spin.

You can check the mods in my sig on my 93 AOD GT vert and see what it has had done to it. With those mods and a stock converter it will turn 14.0s all day long @100 mph. Consistent as hell. With a 100 shot it ran a best of 12.72@109.

It will be going up for sale soon since I finally got the notch that I have always wanted.
