APC seats in a 66

The APC seats available from Jegs and Summit..... Has anyone ever installed any in a 65-66? The seat base/track assy is taller than original making the overall height of the seat to much . The only way I can see to install them is to cut away portions of the seat pan and reinforce. If someone has pics or information, please advise.

Can you redrill the seat bases to accept the stock tracks? I know to install late model seats you have to redrill and use the stock seat tracks to lower the seat height.

moneypit. I'll get them in and will post your link.
mmk...good idea,however, I checked that option but the seat itself is the problem. the original tracks are about the same as whats on the APC seat. at this point I see no other way than to cut a section out of the seat pan, and reinforce, to get the seat down an inch or so.
