That's great that you got it done -- but it doesn't really mean anything until you get your insurance company to agree to it. No matter what your agent says or what some guy on the phone tells you -- unless you get a copy of your policy and it says "Agreed value $30,000" on it or similar, you're only going to get what they think it's worth according to their figures and calculations (which are for your average, everyday car)
The best you can hope for without that is that the company will negotiate with you to try and keep you out of court, which will cost them money. If you did go to court -- you would only end up wasting your time anyway, since the company is obviously not knowingly insuring a car with all the extra work you have put into it -- and they're not on the hook for that of course (once again, they only insuring the car the way it came -- which equals your average, everyday car).
Basically, without a good policy, you lose.
Now you have to start contacting companies and trying to find one who will insure your car with the appraisal.
