or keep these:

I love what I have, but the CCWs have always tickled my pickle. I found some replicas for under $600, and I can keep my tires.

Do it. It's hard to get more "played out" than cobra r's or sc reps on a fox.

I never worry about that. I like what I like. CCW's are nice but I like the SC's better. Just personal preference and I'm probably in the minority. If I had 5 lug axles I would go with something like True Forged or Billet Specialties Like Grover or Raceahollic's are my favorites.

Vorstoen makes a replica of the classics that is much closer looking but I think they're twice the cost of the xxr

I think they were more played out when used on '03-'04 Cobras. I saw more of those wheels on those cars that any other Mustangs. I say go for it.

Having seen quite a few of the original stern wheels, I've never liked the replicas. Loved the originals, but something was lost in translation when they were duplicated, maybe it's the missing bolts, the color or the offset (because saleen used a wider rear, they didn't have to be dished), regardless as a saleen wheel fan, I just don't like the replicas.

The set on the notch in the pic, will never go out of style.

Never thought they belonged on a Fox body to begin with.....so played out, has my vote.

Even though I have the stern reps I agree the sterns are a killer wheel and they looks the way the face of the rim still curves out at you but maintains a completely flat face and a negative offset look .

personally, i'm digging the sc's on yours. i've always been more in the mindset that these "blocky" foxes usually need a "blocky" wheel, and the mesh-style wheels (with the exception of the occasional fr500's or full on corner-carving racing gt/saleen) should be left to the import guys.

Sorry, Hoopty, but they do not seem right. If it does not have 5 spokes or slots, I probably do not think a wheel should be on a pony or muscle car. Turbines or General Lee wheels are exceptions to that, I suppose.

I can't do 4k for a set of wheels that will be chipped scarred and marred. A waist of money if you ask me. But I also have a house 5 cars and two kids with twins on the way. They will never be in my budget. I like them but give me an original set of BBS RS wheels in 17x9/17x10 please!
