Are these heads junk?

I got these heads for free on an engine a friend gave me. When I pulled it apart, it was evident water had been in a few cylinders for a while. I didn’t want to throw away the heads, so I had a local machine shop freshen them up. I didn’t notice this until they were all cleaned up. There’s some decent pitting on the heads from the aforementioned water.

Are these junk? These are the worst ones.

You really only need to look at the portions of the surface that seal. In your images, it appears the portions with corrosion pits are [not] in the sealing area.

No pitting in the sealing area. Just over the cylinders. I only really held onto them with the intent of freshening them up and hopefully selling them to someone looking for a stock-type rebuild. They're factory 1967 casting 289 heads with a matching intake.
