I took the $300 88 subaru rx out, and ran a 17.9 stock....at least its good to know i can beat a Honda civic that is "modified" :D

Anyways i need a new engine for the mustang, no reason to race it until i get a built engine in there....so if i talk to you. please don't think im another ricer kid...

When do you guys usually go out...there were only a few stangs out there tonight.

no im not "racing" this season. Im just breaking parts and wasting my savings account . :bang:
I hear ya! My cars won't be ready until next season. I haven't broken any parts in a while, but I am replacing many before I break them. As such, I will be more than buzy the rest of the summer. I am finishing up stripping out my bronco II, and I still have to install my new axles, diff and k-member on my '95GT. Oh well! I went to PIR last night to watch a few friends race (I have never seen so many slow foci in my life). My old college room mate, who is building a notchback for drag racing, also has a ZX-3 focus. Apparently, the guys from one of the focus formums had some meet at PIR last night.

slow foci??? didnt you see my subaru, i got whooped by every focus out there hahahahaha.

I'm sort of racing this year. This is my first year with this car, and I'm still working out all the bugs. The problem with me is I've only been to the track 3 times, and I dont even have the time to buy parts and put them on. But I'm just glad to back racing after 5 years.

Hopefully if i get the money out of the explorer i want, i'll be able to build the engine in the stang, and i will be going down the track a little faster....i could try now, but theres no reason to burn a half of quart of oil getting to PIR then another half with each run....lol
