Im still losing brake fluid little by little. Brake light came on again, and the resivour is low ...again. Im just gonna add some leftover fluid for now (its been sealed tight and in a zipped plastic bag, it should be good to re use) but I think I have an idea of where its dissapearing to.
The other day I was washing it and when I was doing the wheels I noticed that the right rear rotor was in sub par shape. The top half of the rotor is grooved basically, like its been eaten away as the others are smooth as silk there. So I imagine its killing the pad, and sucking up the fluid. It stops great, but its an annoying problem.
So is a whole new rotor in order, or is there anything I can do thats just a quick inexpensive fix? I guess ill need new pads, but the rotor is my main concern. Ive never done brakes before, but im pretty competent with a wrench and have a Haynes manual.
What do you guys think?
Im also gonna try and get the trans fluid changed tomarrow, and pinpoint where theres a little bit of oil seeping from... I hope this thing isnt a pile of s**t.
