Hell ... I'd vote for for Bernard Landry ... Jacques P ... Geaorge Bush or Idi Amin if one of them could look me in the eyes with a straight face and tell me that they were going to eliminate the GST, cut gas taxes in 1/2 and bring back the dealth penalty for pedophiles ... but then again ... Sheila Craps told us this all before.
Since when is Charest responsible for higher gas prices? Wasn't it the pq party that added all these taxes and the federal didn't help either. Once a tax is in place; try and remove it, it's like taking a pay cut for us. These guys need the extra cash to pay for their friends and what not. lol
You know those signs in construction zones which read $20,000,000 of your tax dollars, blah blah and there is about 2 km of construction total? Give me the 20 million, I'll find people willing to build the stuff for 1/8th of that amount and I'll pocket the rest - that's how things work and that's why we are paying so many taxes.
The only thing that can save this country is to get rid of everyone in politics, start over with a presidential system where you have to be re-elected every 4 years. I'd say get some more young people involved. I don't trust people in their 50's or 60's that have spent their entire lives under blankets of richness and corruption. Also get rid of the freaking queen from our money, who cares about her here in Canada now, why should we care enough to have her face stamped into our coins?
