The seventies are the perfect temperature for painting. Everything flows out nicely and will still catalyze.

We have a front coming, but I honestly couldn't say when. I'm hoping it hits Sunday. I'll be pulling tape then hopefully.

One thing, beware of the blue tape. I don't think it's solvent resistant. The blue and black Conquest that came out of that booth in the vid had to be repainted because the blue tape allowed the paint to bleed. Probably not a problem for you since it's all one color.

Mike is definitely right on that one. 3M has a cheapish yellow tape that we use in the shop that's great though. Besides, your just doing the jambs right now. It really wouldn't hurt to buy a couple rolls of the 1.5 or 2" tape and go over the areas that are butting up to the panels for when you shoot the outside.

I've got some of the green scotch masking tape for the line pulls on the trim. I tried finding 3m fine line but couldn't find any this stuff was for sale where i bought the paint.. So I hope it's good. They seemed to know their stuff.

Edit: so basically, anywhere There will be a paint line, i used the green... And put the blue over it.

The green is 3M's "good" stuff as far as making tape goes. It came out 18 or 19 years ago.
I've never been a big fan of it because of it's flexability, tougher to tear the right length I want with ease. My petty problem there.
It doesn't give a sharp line like blue fine line does, but that won't be an issue for you unless you were laying out some graphics.
I think your set, I wish no bugs or dirt for you. Good luck buddy, let us see how it turns out.

Genius. The lights I mean. What I mean is.... I just picked up two light assemblies that look like those. What's different is that they are LED tubes. I've been scratching my head for a couple of days, tying to decide where to mount them.

I'm going to steel your rack idea and put castors on the bottom.

What's even better is that they're 38 watts a piece. I have a deep cycle and in inverter lying around. I think I'll make them mobile and self contained. Pics in another thread. Thanks for the idea.

Nope. My wife's mom and dad live at the end of my street. They gave it all to him when he went down there asking for newspaper. Score!

I have questions;
What Brand/Type of paint guns are you using?
And is that Summit paint?

That paint i just shot was with a cheap touch up gun i bought from summit. Performance tool I believe. Gravity feed hvlp.

My big gun is a nesco 840 I believe which is a copy of a sata jet.

And no, we decided not to use summit paint because i was able to get ppg for 40 bucks more locally.
