First off, this is a great resource for any mustang enthusiast looking for some advice. I have a few more questions before I am ready to put my 66 back together, and todays topic is heads
I want to run a nice cam in my 289, and I got to thinking about screw in studs, valve lift, stock springs, and basically realized my stock C code heads just arnt going to cut it if I want a pretty big cam in there.

They are stock 289/302 heads with screw in studs, valves, springs, all made for a somewhat high performance cam. Would anyone recommend buying a set of made up heads such as these? I am temped to purchase them because they are within my budget, and I want to run something like a Comp Cams 268H series. I guess another question I have is if a 268H would have enough lift to cause interference with piston-valve clearance.
Would anyone recommend/not recommend these heads?
Thanks in advance!
