Attempted to get duals today...

You should take that down so people dont get the wrong impression.. To be honest, that file just pissed me off!!

I promise you it doesn't sound like it does in person, it kicks ass and all my friends say its sweet as hell. Ive also compared it to my friends 05 gt, and theres not much difference. Very meaty, very low, feel it in your chest, rumble. I do want to get some louder ones, because i want to show off that v8 sound and scare people off. If i find some GT axle back's from like magnaflow, i may go for them, because the guy put nice rubber mounts to where i can take the mufflers off like a stock GT

Oh, did you buy like a takeoff cat back exhuast from a GT. I know i had alot more work to be done from the X-Pipe, but it was well worth it.

Yeah I got the pipes too but I had them make my H pipe instead of buying one. From your pics they look pretty much the same except you have an X and I have an H. I've got a crappy pic since it was night when I took it but I'll try and a better one tomorrow. and mine is all SS pipe except for my H not the aluminized steel most places use. Sorry not trying to bicker we both have great exhausts. here's my crappy pic

Yea, that's what I would be afraid of when getting exhaust work done if I had a V6. It sounds fine until you hit those high rpm's and then it it no secret rather it's a V6 or V8. I would like to hear yours MSP. BTW why are you guys intent on your car sounding like a V8? A V8 sounds like a V8 for a reason, likewise with the V6.

I never posted this up here, but put it up a while back in March on TMS. Just throwing it up for comparison. This was a few days and a few hundred miles after I had my exhaust work done. Flowmaster 40s and "true dual" exhaust. Pipes never cross. Its mellowed out alot, and gotten deeper since. Ill get a newer clip if anyone wants it. Doesnt pop anymore either, it was a wet rainy day. Dont hold those against me.

This is the problem... The point at which your RPMs start to go high, like PhilStang mentioned, is the point where my engine starts to go to a very deep sound..

If not tuned correctly, the sound will shoot high.. Which means, that perhaps the Bassani xpipe is not good for our V6's..

At no point should your car sound like a RiceRocket.. Mine sounds like a really Healthy V8, and sound like a Nascar at very high RPM's..

I better get my sound file up soon... I am so sorry you guys have had to suffer this... The car sounds way better than these 2 sound files... No wonder the GT guys try and make fun of us... LOL!! Damn!!

In my soundfile, you can hear and know when I get to 100MPH.. You can also time it, and hear the wind to verify it.. Pehaps the best sound file ever made.. LOL!! In my soundfile, once I lift off the gas in 3rd gear, thats 100MPH... I bet GT owners will be shaking in their boots!! LOL!!!

Also, it was more like 110MPH.. I used 100MPH as an estimate.. But in reality, it was much closer to about 107 to 110MPH..
