Auto shifter area lights

Since this is the first auto fox I've ever owned, I'm not sure if the PRNDL is suppose to light up. Mine don't but it seems like it should. If it should, and since mine doesn't, is there any advice on how to make it light up nicely??

Blown bulb or the light fell off the inside of the shifter

Thanks for the response, I had no idea it was even supposed to light up. Does anyone do any "upgrade" to the stock bulbs? I know how dull some of the instrument lights can be an I imagine that this will be the case with the shifter light.

You could switch it out for an LED. Might be brighter.

I forget what the bulb size is though.

I may try an LED. I tried some of the tri-LED's in the instrument cluster of my '03. Hated them, they were not at all bright enough and wouldn't light up my needles. Guess that doesn't really have anything to do with this though. Sorry, rambling.

Use a multi-directional SMD LED and you'll have brighter even light. If you can remove the green plastic you can have a cleaner light than 1980's ford green
