So i am putting a T56 into my 95 GT and I am having troubles with the clutch fork. I was told when I bought the trans that I would have to buy all these components as i excpected. The problem I am having is the clutch fork for the 95 does not fit into the opening in the bellhousing. It is too wide to fit in the exsisting hole. If anyone has done a T56 swap and come across this problem could you offer some guidence to the solution.

Thanks

good folks, but you may have some trouble buying individual parts like the fork. they tend to be tight lipped on that stuff--so i have heard.

It won't fit because the AODE gods hate you now.

But seriously, do you have the fork for a T56? I would think the fork would need to match the tranny not the car in this case.

I contacted D&D Performance and they told me the stock clutch fork will work in the trans. I assured them that it did not fit and sent them pictures showing them how it did not fit. I also told them that I hurd that a 93 Clutch fork will fit but i cant get my hands on one without buying one and not being able to return it if it doesn't work. Now i just sit and wait to hear back from them

When I bought the T-56 it came with everything I needed. Except for a bolt inside the tranny that takes away the slack on the fork.
