What do I need to make a auto into a 5 speed or where can I get info aboute it . I heard they have kits to do this, just dont know where. 2001 mustang gt. want a tremec 600

ok you will need the pedals and you should get a aftermarket cable/quadrant. you should get the pcm out of a 5 speed car too. i am not sure on the differences in the wirring harness. i think you should be ok with you current one.

it's not the same, your foot gets bored w/o a manual
rellic50- stangparts.com sells a kit. However, it utilizes used parts...
You're basically going to need well the tranny*duh*, a new driveshaft, clutch assembly, pedal assembly, speedo gear. I believe you can keep your auto computer because it wil still work.
Do a yahoo search or a search on here and you'll find some articles to show the work involved and parts used. Here's one:
