I jus got my gauge pod in and put in my oil pressure gauge and temp gauge. well i went to town and they fogged up. Any thouhgts on this. kinda sucks when u pay that much and cant see em.
thefixtureman - On a serious note, what Autometer part number gauges are you using? Have you contacted Autometer tech support to ask them about this issue btw ? Their tech support has been VERY helpful in the past when I have contacted them. Perhaps there is an issue with the lenses of the specific gauges you purchased (suspect to fogging/condensation)?
Also, WHERE (location) have you mounted the gauges? A-pillar, center console, etc?
What are the temps/weather conditions like in your area right now? High humidity, lots of rain or very hot/dry temps?
You could try removing the bulb from the rear of the housing, allow the housing to completely dry (if the condensation is REALLY bad), and then put the bulb back in and re-check for fogging/condensation.
