It is kinda a PITA, I'll try to see if I can get a decent pic of mine and post it for you. I had to run a short nipple, then T it. I put the stock sender in the end of the T, had the T rotated to put the new Autometer sender up through the opening in the P/S bracket, and then installed the brackets / etc...
It looks like this now... (down is toward the front of the engine)

It will make a lot more sense if I post a picture later. lol
