I have a mechanical temp gauge i'm looking to put in my 91 Notch I just picked up. The fitting is 1/2" npt. Do I need another fitting to screw into the intake to 'lock' the mechanical sensor in? Just want to know before I take everything apart. Here is a picture:

Thanks guys. I believe I need ATM-2263. I'll see if the speed shop has it so I can do it this weekend.

Mike, the new Action Performance on Hawkins Rd in Ronkonkoma is pretty awesome. They have tons of stuff. I don't know how far you are from SK Speed, but that little fitting would probably be about $475 from them.

You should also be able to get it at a normal parts store (not the AM brand, but a similar part for the store's line of gauges).
