Autometer Speedometer Q

Hello,
I have a Autometer Speedometer, which comes with an adapter to convert from the clip on speedometer cable to a threaded one. It also came with a small extension piece so that the cable would be long enough. Recently, my speedometer cable snapped so I had to replace the orignal cable. When I replaced the speedometer cable, I left the small extension piece on the end of the old cable, which I threw out. I have checked every possible website that I can find, and I cannot find a replacement for that part. I found a part by VDO, #200202, that is the threaded adapter and the extension, but it does not seem to be made anymore. Does anyone know where I could possible find this extension, this has been driving me crazy for a few weeks now. Thanks.

I called autometer, and they gave a number to call that does not seem to be in service anymore.
