Those of you with an autometer 5" tach, how did you attach it to the dash? I know I can screw/bolt it down but I don't really want to put a hole in the dash. I tried velcro but it still wobbled some. Any ideas???

u could try some 2 sided tape or some 2 part epoxy. Or maby try and screw it to something that you can change easy and get from the scrap yard.

I was trying to figure out how I was going to do this as well. I was thinking that I could just make a bracket that goes behind one of that pads on the front of the dash and just holds it in place where I want it. I was going to work on it tomorrow I will let you guys know if I have any luck.

I used this tach bracket from UPR in my 95, maybe you could find a way to mount it in a Fox. Mine is held on by the two bolts that hold the HVAC panel to the dash.squeeeg said:

Could also check out the Autometer Tach pod. Not sure if it involves anything more than 3m tape.
Well I went out and got 3m double sided foam tape and it worked. I thought my velcro strips were as strong as 3m but I guess not.
