Autometer Tach

I just bought a autometer tach and shiftlite, I got a very good deal on it so i couldnt pass it up, only bad thing is, its a silver gauge and everything and i was wanting black. So i was wondering if u can change the silver inside to black. I was gonna do this and then paint the outside or maybe jus leave it silver, but atleast the gauge would be black. If you can does anyone know where i can get the black gauge

I dont even think you can open autometer gauges.

well i see bolts and screws just didnt want to take it apart if u couldnt change um out. guess silver will be goin in.

On a normal AM gauge, you end up destroying the bezel trying to open it up. I'm not sure about a larger tach (I have a smaller one and it's sealed like a small gauge).

I would not want to do it myself (sell it and buy what you want if you have to).

yeah i would try to trade it for what you want
