There is very little clutch pressure, it kind of vibrates when I push in on it, and it wont shift into gear.

If I rev it up to get the syncros just right, it will go into gear, so I'm pretty sure it's not my tranny.

What has happened?

Just got it towed to the dealership this morning and they said it might be up to a week before they can get to it.

Sounds like the pressure plate. Were you playing?

Yes. I stomped on it in first, then made a pretty hard shift into second, then got off right after that. I skipped third because I was going fast enough to put it into fourth, but it would'nt go. So I tried third...No dice. Then I gave it some gas, and kind of forced it into fourth.

Now the clutch pedal is really light. I checked the cable, but it's fine. When I took the dust cover off (the little box over the clutch fork, and the end of the cable) you could see that some of the fingers were bent pretty good.

Thats what I get for playing
The dealership will probably charge me an arm and a leg.

At least I know enough to not get bull****ted around. My parents are great friends with the owner of the dealership and his wife, and I still the run-around.

I did get to drive his Ford GT, however.

That's not even a joke!
During my cam/manifold swap we snapped a bolt in half for the manifold, if I recall correctly the damn thing cost $17!!!!!!!!! I was like HOLY ****** **** bend me over and skip the lube. If I would have had time to actually order it through Randy or Tousley it would have been cheaper but unfortunately I didn't have time for it to be shipped.

I find it hard to believe that they have the best prices...I'll have to check parts based off Randy and Tousley Fords pricing to see if they truely have the "best prices on the net"

900?!!!

I did mine for the price of the clutch ($200) and some beer for friends. A shop here would have charged 600 at the most.

Yeah, I talked to Stryctly Performance, and they quoted me $250 for labor, and about $225 for a Spec Stage II...

But it's already at the dealership...All I can do now is bitch and moan.
Besides, I'll be selling it soon.

Good news! My mom just happened to be talking to the owner's wife when I came by yesterday, and he's giving me a discount!
Dont know how much yet, but anything is better than $900.
