will be around 10.3-10.5 compression with all bolt on's, stage 1 cams and springs driven lightly hard to balls out on a weekly basis.
should be ok, I ran 12C's on mine N/A and didn't have any issues and you do know thats only a 1/2 thread plug, right.....
there wasn't a full thread plug that was the right temp that the dealership could locate
thats correct, not in a Motorcraft copper core. now they do have one thats full thread and that heat range, which is used on the 03/04 Cobra's....
when I went wth the SVO heads on mine, which are "full thread" I had togo to another brand (champion) toget the correct heat range for mine....
Actually Ford does or at least they did have a full thread Copper plug in the 12 heat range. I have a set of 8 at home. When I go home, I will grab the number off of the box and post it. No, mine are not for sale, they are for my TBird...
I don't see why you should run such a cold plug on a NA motor....
that Motorcraft plug was discontinued @6 years ago.....
The part number is:
AGSF-12C
That is if anybody wants to check and see if the plug is still available. As mentioned, it is discontinued but dealers may still have some in stock...
K, need some help. Looking into exchanging my AWSFA-12C's for a full thread plug which would have to be platinum, but i called the dealer - and they no longer have the AGSF-12EE's for sale (went on 03/04 cobra i believe) just the AGSF-12F-M1 which is the iridium/platinum fine wire electrode ones. Anyone know if these will work, or what i should get in NKG's instead?
just wanted to bump this, local guy/friend has a 96GT running 540rwhp and uses 12c's - says they are too cold for my set up![]()
I've seen 12c's used on pi swaps before. Do i just need to warm up my car longer?
to each his own, like I said I ran 12C's in mine N/A and ran 13.60's wth just bolt-on's on my 1996 GT....are you having some issues running the 12C's?
oh and is this guys name Royce?
