will be around 10.3-10.5 compression with all bolt on's, stage 1 cams and springs driven lightly hard to balls out on a weekly basis.

thats correct, not in a Motorcraft copper core. now they do have one thats full thread and that heat range, which is used on the 03/04 Cobra's....

when I went wth the SVO heads on mine, which are "full thread" I had togo to another brand (champion) toget the correct heat range for mine....

Actually Ford does or at least they did have a full thread Copper plug in the 12 heat range. I have a set of 8 at home. When I go home, I will grab the number off of the box and post it. No, mine are not for sale, they are for my TBird...

I don't see why you should run such a cold plug on a NA motor....

well normal drivers would use a 32 plug on a na car, recommended 24 stage for common spirited driving and often race track visits. So on a car with all bolts ons, cams, and much higher compression 24 is an option - but it's not exactly just spirited driving on a stock engine. So maybe it'd be 24 on a casual car with these mods and 12 on a spirted car + track time with these mods. Was my train of thought

Well you mentioned on Modular Depot, 4 years, 2 months, and 3 days ago that it was discontinued but still available. The set I currently have, I was able to get in Sept 2006( roughly 1.5 yrs ago )...

The part number is:

AGSF-12C

That is if anybody wants to check and see if the plug is still available. As mentioned, it is discontinued but dealers may still have some in stock...

K, need some help. Looking into exchanging my AWSFA-12C's for a full thread plug which would have to be platinum, but i called the dealer - and they no longer have the AGSF-12EE's for sale (went on 03/04 cobra i believe) just the AGSF-12F-M1 which is the iridium/platinum fine wire electrode ones. Anyone know if these will work, or what i should get in NKG's instead?

Maybe completely unrelated but if they are iridium like the NGK's that were in my wifes Celica GTS with like 12:1 compression, the tip is a fine as a hair almost. They tended to just melt down very quickly. Were suppose to be a 100k plug but were shot way before that. May would stay away. Not to mention for ngk iridium I payed almost 50 buck for 4 factory plugs at AZ.

I would look else-where, as I did wth my SVO headed 4.6 GT a few years back...now I get my Motorcraft plugs for free from one of my sponsers but due to the lack of proper heat ranges, I went wth Champions..... they offer a better selection of tips, electrodes and heat ranges....I used a Champion # 286 which has a Non projected tip, eventhough my car was N/A....

Thanks Randy, was kinda waiting for your take on it. Not sure what i want to do, ford doesnt have champion plugs - so i'd still have these plugs and then buy champions at 4.50 a pop

just wanted to bump this, local guy/friend has a 96GT running 540rwhp and uses 12c's - says they are too cold for my set up

I've seen 12c's used on pi swaps before. Do i just need to warm up my car longer?
