Is the Traction-Lok axle in our stangs the same thing as a posi? I've searched and searched but I can't seem to find an answer. A buddy of mine asked what comes on our cars but I've never really done any research on it. Can somebody help?
"Posi" is a shortform of "Positraction" which was a GM name for their limited-slip differentials. "Traction-Lok" is Ford's name for their variant of the limited-slip. In that respect, yes, the GT comes with a limited-slip diff...a "posi" if you like
