Whats the best shifter for the GT ? Ive got the famous Tremec3650 . Now in my last car I had a B&M and what a diffrence. I dont plan on modding the car just yet, just improve what I already have cuz its happend to me several times that I'm on the highway, someone wants to go and i find it hard to find 3rd. What do you guys recomend? Does anyone here have a B&M ?

Powerdyne SuperCharger: Any good ? I was browsing through an online catalog and it seemed pretty cheap compared to these KB's ive been reading about. I dont plan on getting one this season, more curiousity then anything else, they want 3,764$ CAN!! The KB was 4k US.. by the time I pay duties taxes and all that I may has well just bought another car :rlaugh:

Let me know your opinions, Thanks in adance!

I have used the Pro 5.0 shifter and I loved it. I ordered a Steeda Tri ax for my Cobra and it will arrive tomorrow. I hear it's about the same as the Pro 5.0 but the handle is a little longer. At any rate, those are the two most popular ones among the Stang ppl.

The Powerdyne SC's are good but I prefer the KB because of it's wide powerband. When comparing prices don't forget to consider that the KB is a package deal that includes almost everything you'll need to tune it properly.

Oh the famous 3650. I find that easy to believe that you are having trouble getting into 3rd when running higher mph on the highway. All you have to do is put it back in neutral from which ever gear you were in previously and press up. No direction needed. It should slide in like butter. If you're still having problems try Lucas semi-synthetic ATF fluid or GM Synchromesh in your tranny. 3.3qtz - I used the GM synchromesh and it helped a lot. Though i'm getting a brand new T-45 later. :D
As for shifter. I have the B&M Short Shifter. Blue base/metal stick. That is by far the best shifter i've ever tried. It even makes the steeda tri-ax feel like a stock stick. But don't take my word for it, go around and see if you can find someone that has the b&m and steeda and see for yourself. The b&m is so stiff that at first i had to muscle my way through gears because of the stiffness of the stick. And that accounts for making the steeda feel like a stocker. :D
The supercharger, i've never had any feedback on powerdyne but if i had to choose any i'd go with the KB. Just be ready for 3.55's or 3.73's
