Well fellas, I finally made it to the track. I don't think I did too bad for my first time. I was only able to get in two runs. Please check out my times and tell me what you think.

Run 1 Run 2
R/T .464 .053
60' 2.328 2.186
330 6.003 5.986
1/8 8.804 8.846
MPH 89.08 87.68
1/4 13.200 13.273
MPH 113.03 112.40

I was spraying a 100 shot on both runs w/ street tires. I sprayed right after shifting into 2nd gear on Run 1. The pressure was also at around 1000 for this run, so the nitrous hit really hard. On the 2nd run, my bottle pressure had dropped to 800-850(no bottle heater yet) and I fumbled with the nitrous switch so I didn't spray until the very end of 2nd gear. It didn't really hit very hard either. I know I need a lot of practice, but what do ya'll think I would run with great driving.

You should at least be running Mid 12's.

Your 60' is horrible also.

Practice makes perfect!

Your trapping as good as a 03-04 cobra...use slicks next time, and you should run LOW 12s...spray out of the hole next time too....anyways awsome time

Thought about some drag radials for the track?

Practise, practise, practise. Sounds like you are off to a good start.

My friend would kill you with his 12.8 n/a stang, auto with nothing but 248 rwhp. Why? Because it is setup right for the track and he has almost 150 runs in it.

As I said "practise". Your goal should be mid to high 12's on street tires...low 12's with DR's. 11's with suspension mods are possible.

Thanks for all the comments. I know I need a lot of practice, but I was very pleased with the trap speed. I was driving like a grandma mainly because I was nervous and everything happened so fast. Traction was not an issue suprisingly. I barely spun on the launch and I don't recall spinning at all in 2nd. I think I should be able to pull a 1.9-2.0 60' on street tires with a few more runs, and I am defintely considering drag radials fand spraying in 1st for my next trip.

I still say thats pretty darn good for your 1st time at the track. If you had a set of D/R on that beast, you would be cutting some very impressive 12's. I'd be a little concerned about running D/R's with that kinda HP though, as your tranny may not hold up.

Very nice trap speeds , now get your self some (atleast) DRs, the bottle heater and have the pressure on 1100psi it will hit way harder. Low 12s are on your way I was hitting 13.7@100mph with 650psi on the bottle and a really bad slipping clutch. I just need to replace my engine mounts and head to the track for some new numbers.
