Well i think i'm finally getting back on track and its my birthday on the 17th(16). I was just working on my car a day or two ago, but i might take about 2 weeks off now :( (stupid exams). But i think i'm done my so called "Mustang Depresstion hehe)

here are my questions:

Info: I got a 1967 coupe. I'm doing it up like a 60s rod(read: really "old school" things, just stuff that would have been done in the 60s) done up 289, top loader, hopefully a 9 inch soon with 4.10 soon.

I plan on running 295s on 15s (Goodyear Radials, raised white letter on Crager S/S with spinner cap), now what do i need to do to fit thoughs nice inside the fender(no tire stickin out)?

I plan on raising the rear end up a few inches and lowing the front about 1 inch. How much will this hurt my handling? and will 26.7 inch "fill out" the fender?(so there won't be like a foot of space and looks stupid)

Also, how was disk brakes take(like how popular where they) back in then?

Thanks

mustang like a stink bug- thats how you want it?

well if that is what you like yes it will effect your handling greatly.

you just might want to forget about putting bigger shackles in and just get air shocks. that way you can adjust the ride hieght to fit what tire you have.

disk brakes weren't really popular then but they sure are safer-

be able to stop vs just look popular hot rod style= i pick stopping!
