After a week of owning my 04 GT I took er to the track and made 4 runs. On the way home I noticed that I had an exhaust leak from the passenger side exhaust manifold. I took it to the dealer and after fighting with them, they confirmed the leak (they claimed they couldn't hear the noise until I went up there to 'talk' to them...they heard it right before I arrived). They are replacing the manifold gasket...My question is; could the stock exhaust have so much back pressure that it blew a hole in the exhaust manifold gasket? Or is this one of those, 'life can be a bi***', senerios and the manifold gasket was just defective? I'm ordering a cat back and offroad mid in two weeks.
