PICS NOW HERE:
http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?p=6339670#post6339670

Well, after a 3 year detour in to the world of Nissan and the 350z...I am now the proud owner of a 2007 Mustang GT!

Color: Alloy (been waiting forever for this color it seems)
Interior: Red leather (the contrast with the outside is just sexy as hell)
Wheels: 17" polished Bullets
Tranny: AUTO

Options list wasn't too long....

Shaker 500 (yes I actually like the sound of stock stereos, heh) My Color and interior color accent package. I also noticed that different from the 2005 and 2006 that the armrests are a nice soft leather! And the center armrest is the same! Also, the dash pad is trimmed in a leather now instead of just a hard plastic shell. Nice! It also has the slightly longer, polished tips on the exhaust.

Overall very impressed with the feel, power, and handling. My only mod plans currently are the Steeda springs. I think the 1.5" drop in the back and the 1" drop up front is going to just make it look mean. Wheels would be next, but still undecided. I know a hood will be on the mod list soon too.

PICS SOON, tomorrow I hope.

Dealer info: Sunrise Ford in North Hollywood. (they have two GT500s by the way at $30k over)

My GT was dealer tagged at $31k. The sticker said $29k. Six and a half hours later I got it for $26,404.

They were NOT pushy and overbearing. In fact even the sales manager was very cool. The finance guy was pretty decent too. Although they tend to be the worst of the sales experience. He wasn't that bad though, decent guy. Definitely would suggest them. Just be prepared to spend an afternoon wheeling and dealing. See Steve Demak.

Welcome home son!

I think your plan for lowering the car is the right choice. Mine is dropped evenly all the way around and I'd rather the rear be a little lower.

Good choice on the color. I walked by the dealership yesterday and had to see what color that was on the sticker. Very nice. I'm looking forward to my return to the ranch as well. After spending some time in another car, it is time to get another Mustang.
