I think next I will work on my intake. Explorer (GT40) intake. Clean it up and paint. Maybe some gasket matching at the same time. :-)

I also have a 1" spacer. Will it fit under a Stock hood?? From what I have read online it should. Might have to take off my hood insulation. Mine is in bad shape anyways so I was going to take it off.

Well I went to wake up my baby almost two weeks ago. Lets just say she was not ready. Still way to much snow:(

I got some more parts in. MSD coil and a Accel wire to replace my coil wire. When I got my new wires last summer the coil wire was to short so I ordered one off Ebay.

1" spacer may not clear the stock hood. I have a 3/8" spacer on my Cobra intake and it's close. 1/2" would probably contact.

I wouldn't lose much sleep if you can't run the spacer. Explorer intake is already well known for producing torque with its larger plenum volume

Thank you for the info. I will just have to wait to install my spacer I guess. No big deal.

I was finally able to bring my car home. The weather is still not the best so I have not started the water pump replacement yet. But i did do some work on her. I installed my fog lights. Had to clean the connectors. Mounted them up and plug them in. They work :-).

Looks way better. Just have to wait for night so I can align them. I will pick up what I need to do the fog light switch mod. Don't need my lights going out on me at night or worse burn my car up. Now she will need new head and park lights. They look really bad compared to the new fog lights.

I installed a new head unit this weekend. Sony MEX-N4100BT. Nothing special but it has bluetooth to stream music. Just need new speakers and a 10" sub for a little boom boom.

I also installed my Auto Meter carbon fibre volt gauge. I will have to get or make piece to hold my head unit and gauges. But it works for now.

I also finally did the fog light switch mod. Was easy to do. Now I can run my fog lights and not have to worry about burning my car down.

Back to the work so far. Clean up the alternator bracket and painted it. I also installed my air pump delete pulley. Starting to look good.

My intake is almost ready to install. The porting of the throttle body opening to 70mm is done. Just have to work on the vacuum lines. Install the water pump, paint the brackets for the A/C and power steering pump. Then she will be ready to fire up. Can't wait, want to drive her again.

I think the motor plate turned out good.

Car is looking good! What part of Ontario are you In? I am going to Toronto (Oakville actually) in a few weeks. My wife's entire family lives there and my son is at U of T. I am trying to find the name of the huge mustang salvage yard in southern Ontario. Do you happen to know it offhand? I remember seeing it in 5.0 magazine a few years ago. Guy had tons and tons of foxbodies in his yard.

Thanks

Chris
