Car is looking good! What part of Ontario are you In? I am going to Toronto (Oakville actually) in a few weeks. My wife's entire family lives there and my son is at U of T. I am trying to find the name of the huge mustang salvage yard in southern Ontario. Do you happen to know it offhand? I remember seeing it in 5.0 magazine a few years ago. Guy had tons and tons of foxbodies in his yard.

Thanks

Chris

Well I got my car back together. Still have to re adjust my valves. I also have a little exhaust leak between header and H pipe.

Then I decided to put my red mustang gt stickers in the rear bumper and side skirts.

Then I decided to change my CANADIAN cobra sticker to red.

The red is looking good .

There is a car show this weekend here in town. Not sure if I should enter my car or just go check it out. Let me know what you think, should I enter. I know my car is far from perfect.

I finally added my red stripe in the body moulding, I think it look awesome. I love this picture of my car. It look so nice. Still lots of work to do. Might do a few little more cosmetic things but nothing crazy. Going to start planning the next step for my car. I'm thinking suspension with sfc's and other reinforcement parts. Discussion coming

I ordered a few gauges and a stereo face plate. Need a few more gauges to keep a eye on the engine. I know what I want to do with the engine. Have to do chassis stuff first and suspensions. Before I build my motor

I am also going to paint the breaks RED lol. It will not show much with the turbines, but its the little things.

Hello, been away for a while. Been enjoying my car for the summer. I did get a few more things installed. The Carbon Fiber Auto Meter gauges and stereo face plate gauge holder I ordered. Turn out nice cleans it up nicely.

Well I have been looking at parts online. I have no idea what to do. The only thing I do know is. I want to stay 4 lug so I can put my turbines on when I'm feeling nostalgic. The only outside mod I want is a small cowl hood. 2" or so and a cowl gauge holder. I have no idea where to go after that. I want a fun street car, something I can go on trips with, sit in traffic with the A/C on. I don't mind running supreme grade fuel. This summer I have to drop my gas tank because the full gauge started acting up. While I'm in there going to add a 255 LPH pump.

I know I should add subframe connectors very soon to my car. Not sure what ones to go with cheap, expensive. going to do battle boxes at the same time. would like to change upper and lowers at same time. Was looking at the SVE parts but heard so much bad and little good about there parts.

Any input would be appreciated. Looking forward to talk to you fox body lovers.

I wouldn't run a 255 on a stockish street car. Id stick with 150 or 190.

I was thinking of maybe building a 347or 302 with some boost. Since I had my tank down, up grade the pump. Not a good idea??

Back to the red body molding stripe. My car had one and I took it off because it was trashed. Been thinking about adding a new one. Nostalgic for sure. It looks good on your black car. Wondering what a new one would look like on mine. Did you get yours from LMR? How much?

Upgrade the pump while your dropping the tank.. It's a return style fuel system so no real down side. I've ran genuine Walbro 255's in many cars from mild to wild on the street with zero issues. They are solid pumps but for an otherwise stock car way over kill. If you don't have to replace the tank, straps, sender, pump assembly etc then just pickup a gs340 genuine walbro from highflowfuel.com with the install kit for $80 shipped and call it a day.

The BMR torque box reinforcements I would prob skip and look at UPR or Wildrides. There kits a boat load cheaper then the BMR's and have held up to serious power in endless amount of cars through out the years.

Subframe connectors are a matter of preference, some like the full length, some like the short but almost everyone likes them with the cross brace. Whatever style or price range you decide to go with here. It'll be a huge improvement on how the car feels now without them and it'll save you from having stress cracks in many spots of the car and paint. These should have been on the car from the factory.

If you are planning that then go for it. I took your posts as meaning you'd keep the car stock.
