Backspacing and offset?

If youre gonna get track only tires, get slicks.

I have Nittos on my car and I drive on them every day. They grip awesome, but not good enough to have their own set of wheels.

Maybe next time we go to the track I can let you try out the 315's. :)

The complete tire size will help us. The higher positive offset, the further in the wheel well the wheel and tire will sit. The offset is the distance between the centerline of the wheel and the hub mounting surface. Backspacing is the amount of wheel that is from the hub mounting serface to the outside lip. Most of the 17X8 Mustang wheels have a +30mm with 5.5" of back spacing. I'm sure stock 15" wheels are less than that. Get the size tire and lets go from there.
